The Captain and Crew

All Scenic Space-Ship Captains are selected for their knowledge of Europe’s rivers. Onboard, the Captain and their team can be found in the wheelhouse on the Sun Deck and will be on hand to greet guests and answer any questions during briefings.
 

Cruise Director & Hotel Director

Committed to delivering an exceptional level of service, the Cruise Director and Hotel Director will be your main point of contact throughout your cruise. They’ll ensure every moment of your trip is seamless, while providing daily briefings and updates.
 

Enrichment Manager

Your onboard entertainment while cruising Europe is presented by the Enrichment Manager. They’ll add to your experience by hosting game nights, informative lectures, and organizing special guest performances for entertaining shows with a local flair.
 

Scenic Butlers  

Our expert butlers have been trained to meet Scenic’s high standards. You can relax as your laundry gets taken care of, your shoes are shined, premium beverages get delivered to your suite, and your mini-bar gets replenished. All guests enjoy butler service that surpasses their preferences and expectations.
 

Culinary Team and Bar Staff 

Our expert team of chefs will elevate the sense of luxury on your Europe river cruise. The culinary team draws inspiration from the regions you travel through and ensures all food is fresh and seasonal while creating a daily menu to suit all palates.
 

Wellness Coach

Each Scenic Space-Ship has a dedicated Wellness Team. You can unwind with a massage^, work on your fitness in the gym, take time out in the healing Salt Therapy Lounge (on select Space-Ships), or join a morning stretch class, all while the Wellness Coaches are available to assist you.

Unwind in your suite with ESPA products to nourish and nurture your skin. The formulation of natural ingredients works together to create a sensorial wellness experience, imitating the luxury skincare treatments of a spa from the comfort of your suite.

All menus include healthy dining options so you can personalize your meals to your preferences. For health or medical reasons, or if you’re looking to watch what you eat, our culinary team will have an option for you.

The Scenic Gem cruises the stunning Seine River in France. This custom-built Space-Ship designed for only up to 124 guests can access the top of the Seine and has the unique ability to take you to the port commune of Honfleur, thanks to its special design.

Scenic Azure
Our luxurious Scenic Azure Space-Ship cruises along the Douro on an enchanting round trip from Porto, for up to only 96 guests.

Scenic Eclipse I & II are purposely built for polar regions with a Polar Class 6 rating which includes custom-built stabilizers that provide greater stability, a strengthened hull, forward bow thrusters, and an electronic Azipod propulsion system. The state-of-the-art technology allows for safe and comfortable navigation.

• Immersive dining experience and presentation area at Chef’s Garden @ Epicure.
• Expansive onboard Senses Spa features therapy rooms, saunas, a steam room, temperature-controlled plunge pools, relaxation lounges, a manicure/pedicure studio, and outdoor terrace.

We aim to leave as small a footprint as possible while proudly forming positive and enriching associations with the communities we visit.

Created in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), our Cherish the Planet program has six key focus areas, each with defined priorities and established benchmarks for improvement.
 

Addressing CO2 Emissions

We are committed to designing and operating our ships in an efficient and more sustainable way, thereby reducing the impact of fuel consumption on the environment. We have engaged the services of Ecollective, an independent third-party organization, to calculate the average carbon footprint of our guests and assist in setting achievable targets.

Sourcing Sustainably

Where feasible or possible, fresh produce is sourced from local markets and the on board herb garden (available on selected ships). Our goal is to source sustainably to support the communities we visit and avoid the extensive footprint of food storage and transportation. We have developed sustainable procurement guidelines to ensure all staff and stakeholders are compliant.
 

Reducing our Waste

As we constantly look at new ways to reduce our waste, we are proud to have been working to eliminate single-use plastics on board – all our ships are already over 95% single-use guest plastic free, which so far means we have removed more than 2 million* plastic bottles from use.
